It’s wonderful to have you here again.

For many years, the Bahá’í Music Store has been a place to find devotional songs, children’s music, audio books and the work of Bahá’í-inspired artists from around the world. So when the store went dark for a couple of months, we know many of you wondered what had happened.

Here is the honest answer. We were not hacked, your data is safe, and the store was never closing. The server that hosted us failed catastrophically and destroyed the website and all its files. Thankfully, the store’s databases, including your account, your order history and your past purchases, survived completely intact, and no personal information was ever exposed.

We have rebuilt the store on a brand-new, faster and more secure home, and it is so good to open the doors again. Thank you for waiting for us, and for every song, prayer and story you have shared with your families and communities through this store.

Felipe Duhart is a Chilean guitarist and composer who belongs to the new generation of musicians creating a space for South American jazz.

His music fuses elements of contemporary jazz and the rhythms of South America, creating a sound that is fresh, original and captivating. His new album Huerquehue, which means "the place of messengers" in Mapudungun, was inspired by the deep energy of the native forests of Chile, and the dynamism of the city. The sounds of the electric guitar, tenor saxophone, piano, double bass and drums mingle with rhythms of tonada, funk, festejo, and bop, among other styles, creating a vibrant spectacle bursting with improvisation in the universal language of jazz.

Felipe has shared the stage with many of the celebrated figures of Chilean jazz, and has recorded as a guitarist on 9 albums and 2 live DVDs. He has performed all over Chile as well as in Colombia, Argentina and Ecuador. He has played in the Lebu International Jazz Festival, Thelonious International Jazz Festival, Puerto Montt International Jazz Festival, Django Chile International Jazz Festival, Django Colombia International Jazz Festival, Patagonia International Jazz Festival, among others, receiving an enthusiastic response from both the public and local media.
