Bahá’í Music Store

Welcome home to the Bahá’í Music Store

It’s wonderful to have you here again.

For many years, the Bahá’í Music Store has been a place to find devotional songs, children’s music, audio books and the work of Bahá’í-inspired artists from around the world. So when the store went dark for a couple of months, we know many of you wondered what had happened.

Here is the honest answer. We were not hacked, your data is safe, and the store was never closing. The server that hosted us failed catastrophically and destroyed the website and all its files. Thankfully, the store’s databases, including your account, your order history and your past purchases, survived completely intact, and no personal information was ever exposed.

We have rebuilt the store on a brand-new, faster and more secure home, and it is so good to open the doors again. Thank you for waiting for us, and for every song, prayer and story you have shared with your families and communities through this store.

Can’t find something you bought before? Please reach out. Contact us with what you’re looking for, and we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can to make sure you have it.

With love and gratitude,

Jon

Fathieh Honari & Vashaan Ensemble

Fathieh Honari is one of Canada's premier female Persian vocalists and probably the only North American singer of the extremely rare Balochi folk repertoire. Born in Iran, Fathieh began singing before audiences during her early childhood. After immigrating to Canada, she continued her studies of the Radif (the Persian classical music modal system) and performed with the Vashaan Ensemble and many other musicians. She has a profound understanding of Persian classical poetry, which gives her the ability to express the essence of Persian aesthetics and beauty. Many of her Canadian recordings such as Vasheen and Shadmaneh have been widely celebrated in her Native Baluchistan, despite the government ban on female vocalists and recordings.
