Bahá’í Music Store

Welcome home to the Bahá’í Music Store

It’s wonderful to have you here again.

For many years, the Bahá’í Music Store has been a place to find devotional songs, children’s music, audio books and the work of Bahá’í-inspired artists from around the world. So when the store went dark for a couple of months, we know many of you wondered what had happened.

Here is the honest answer. We were not hacked, your data is safe, and the store was never closing. The server that hosted us failed catastrophically and destroyed the website and all its files. Thankfully, the store’s databases, including your account, your order history and your past purchases, survived completely intact, and no personal information was ever exposed.

We have rebuilt the store on a brand-new, faster and more secure home, and it is so good to open the doors again. Thank you for waiting for us, and for every song, prayer and story you have shared with your families and communities through this store.

Can’t find something you bought before? Please reach out. Contact us with what you’re looking for, and we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can to make sure you have it.

With love and gratitude,

Jon
on behalf of everyone at the Bahá’í Music Store

Badi Yazdi started singing at the age of 10. And though he makes his living as a senior engineer for Boeing Company in California. Badi's passion for chanting verses from the sacred writings of the Bahá'í Faith has led him to create several albums as well as organizing and performing at numerous fundraisers.

His first album 'Ya' Bahá Madadi' was completed in 1995 and was inspired by the poem by Mr. Houshmand Fatheazam (a member of the Universal House of Justice). "Niayesh" album was his second release and is a collection of eleven Bahá'í prayers.

In 2006 when Badi traveled to Haifa on pilgrimage, he was honored to meet the Hand of the Cause Mr. Vargha. During this meeting, Mr. Vargha encouraged Badi to start working on an album which transcended genre and which all listeners could enjoy. Mr Vargha, also asked Badi to work on old Baha'i songs and recording them with higher quality so the old songs can be in circulation in a wider distribution in the world. With the collaboration of Eric Harper, Badi has just completed his latest album 'Yaran'. Released in August of 2013, the albums proceeds will be contributed in support of the Yaran as a dedication to Mr. Vargha.

His music performances schedule has included the Persian Arts and Cultural Conference in London and Chicago, Bosch Bahá'í School, several concerts at the the Grand Canyon Bahá'í Conference, Persian Festival of Fall "Mehregan" and many other nonprofit events in Los Angeles. Badi performed at fundraising events in Toronto Canada as well as such U.S. cities as Seattle, Dallas, San Francisco, San Diego, Badi has also performed at celebration events in Canada and London England. This year Badi will be performing at ABS conference in Irvine and in concert for the seventh time at the 2013 Grand Canyon Baha'i conference in Arizona.
