Welcome home to the Bahá’í Music Store

It’s wonderful to have you here again.

For many years, the Bahá’í Music Store has been a place to find devotional songs, children’s music, audio books and the work of Bahá’í-inspired artists from around the world. So when the store went dark for a couple of months, we know many of you wondered what had happened.

Here is the honest answer. We were not hacked, your data is safe, and the store was never closing. The server that hosted us failed catastrophically and destroyed the website and all its files. Thankfully, the store’s databases, including your account, your order history and your past purchases, survived completely intact, and no personal information was ever exposed.

We have rebuilt the store on a brand-new, faster and more secure home, and it is so good to open the doors again. Thank you for waiting for us, and for every song, prayer and story you have shared with your families and communities through this store.

Ann-Sofie Wensbo

Ann-Sofie Wensbo is a musician, singer/songwriter and producer from Sweden.

Having grown up in a home where music was highly appreciated, Ann-Sofie discovered her musical interest and talent at an early age. As a 10-year old she picked up the guitar and a year later she wrote and performed her first song. At 17 she found the Faith and soon after started putting the Writings to music. Her intoned compositions have been loved and sung around the world long before their official release with the album “Illumine My Inner Being” in 2006.

Ann-Sofie’s musical hallmark is her calm and groovy acoustic guitar playing, her melodious singing and her harmonic vocal arrangements. With her latest release, the original song “The Gate of God” (released for the Bicentenary of the Birth of the Báb), she is offering the possibility for individuals and communities to use the song e.g. for local performances, as she has made an instrumental track available as well. Via her website you can find the lyrics and chords for the song, or from Ann-Sofie directly by request.

Other than writing and performing her own music, currently working on an album of personal songs, Ann-Sofie has a vast experience as a singer for weddings and funerals, as a choir conductor for her own local pop choir, as a music teacher and a vocal coach. She has also been the musician of the Swedish Playback Theatre company “Teater X” since 2006, enacting/“playing back” real life stories through improvised theater and music.
