Win Thompkins was born and raise in a religious home in a small east coast city in south Florida called Pompano Beach, born to the parents of Jethro and Rachel Thompkins he was the third child of ten children, two sisters and seven brothers, he had a happy childhood, a life that was fill with laughter, fun and music that eventually led him to become a renowned Gospel Artist who has achieved great success in the Gospel music industry, at the tender age of 14, he received his first recording contract with Nashville’s Cross & Crown Records where he and his brothers was discovered by famous country singing star “Zeke Clements” and the rest is history…since then he has recorded more than 300 songs and have ten albums living in the marketplace. He has now made his transition to the love, peace and unity community, And has released his new 2020 cd titled “Standing For The People” with cover songs such as “Imagine” by John Lennon,” People Get Ready” by Curtis Mayfield and 13 originals that promotes peace, unity, love and tolerance, all on the Uncle Win’s Music Productions,Inc.
