LadjamayaLadjamaya is a performing artist and former teacher who has traveled extensively sharing her one-woman performance, "The Black Experience--A Cry for World Peace" in schools, universities, public and conference venues throughout the United States and abroad. She believes in the power of the arts to bring people together and is an advocate of building unity through recitation of the Creative Word, drama, poetry, storytelling and song. She has been a frequent member of the Voices of Baha and the Baha'i Gospel Choir. INTONE, O MY SERVANT, a meditative, musical rendition of Baha'i Prayers and Writings, is re-released in celebration of the bicentenary of the births of Baha'u'llah and the Bab. Loved and requested by many, the album provides an enhancement for Feasts and devotions, moments of personal meditation and relaxation, a means of memorizing and internalizing the Creative Word. It makes an excellent gift, as well as offers centering for that early morning or late evening commute and reflection for little ones at bedtime. "It is my hope that all who listen to INTONE, O MY SERVANT may experience the power of the Creative Word. I want to reach a little closer to the souls of humanity, fostering love, understanding, unity and the recognition that we are, indeed, one human family!"
