A very heartfelt Welcome! I would like to begin this musical journey with you by sharing a little about my story. I was born in the Nebilyer Valley in the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea, adopted by Irish Australian parents and have been blessed to be raised in Australia. Music has always played an important role in my life and the lives of my families in both countries. I began my exploration of music back in PNG where I studied traditional PNG music at the National Arts School. I then went onto complete a Degree in Jazz at the Canberra School of Music, followed by my Masters in Music which brought me back to my people in the Nebilyer valley where I recorded their music and inturn gained greater insight into their lives, their culture and beliefs. In 2014, I began work on my new EP - "BLESSED". This recording began from a community project based in Babinda, North Queensland where I worked with an Indigenous elder promoting her cultural stories to schools. This Ep is about having a 'loving conversation' with the human heart. The songs are a selection of Prayers from the Baha'i Holy Writings and original compositions inspired by these writings. I hope that this music will plant a seed of love in your heart and bring you much joy, inspiration and inner Peace.
